The editorial standard.

Glow exists because Australian beauty consumers deserve reviews that aren't auctioned to the highest bidder. Most "best of" beauty content is paid placement disguised as journalism. Glow's editorial rankings are not for sale — and that line, more than anything else, is the publication's reason to exist.

Every product Glow reviews is tested against a five-axis rubric: efficacy, formulation, value, sensitivity tolerance, and longevity. Each axis is scored 0-10 by a named editor with relevant credentials. The composite score becomes the Glow Score that appears at the top of every review.

Where Glow earns commission — through affiliate links to retailers like Mecca, Adore Beauty, Priceline, and Sephora AU — that commission is disclosed inline and capped at 35% from any single retailer to prevent commercial influence on editorial decisions.

Where the line sits.

Glow operates with a hard editorial wall. Brands cannot pay for inclusion in rankings. Brands cannot pay for higher position. Brands cannot pay to be reviewed at all. Where commercial relationships exist (affiliate links, sponsored content), they are disclosed inline.
