2 Dudes: the honest verdict.
The TikTok-popular Aussie men's brand that scaled to Woolworths in two years. Tested across the Eye Cream, Brow Tint, and the All-Over Body Wash. The scoring is honest.

The Glow read.
2 Dudes is what happens when a marketing-led brand outpaces its formulation work. The TikTok-driven Eye Cream that caused queues at Woolworths in 2024 is a competent product wrapped in a brand that's been positioned as if it were category-redefining. It isn't.
The Eye Cream is fine. The Brow Tint is fine. The All-Over Body Wash is fine. The pricing — $35 for the Eye Cream — is positioned premium for products that perform mid-market. The brand identity (the dude-bro voice) is grating in a way Frasé Skin's quieter approach is not.
We bought 2 Dudes because TikTok told us to. We're not buying it again. The fact that Woolworths is now ranging it tells you everything about where the brand sits on the credibility curve in 2026.
What works
- Distribution is excellent — Woolworths, Coles, Chemist Warehouse make it accessible
- Brand-building has been objectively successful — TikTok virality at scale
- Australian-made, founder-led
What doesn't
- Pricing is positioned premium for mid-market formulation performance
- Eye Cream at $35 is outperformed by The Ordinary Caffeine Solution at $13
- Brand voice (dude-bro positioning) is grating in a category trying to mature
- No serious actives across the range — the products perform like supermarket basics in premium packaging
- Confessional Glow review (5.2/10) reflects post-purchase regret, not pre-purchase excitement

What's actually in it.
- Actives
- Eye Cream: caffeine + glycerin + bisabolol at conservative concentrations. Body Wash: standard sulfate-free surfactant blend.
- Preservation
- Phenoxyethanol + sodium benzoate. Within EU/TGA safe limits.
- Allergens
- Synthetic fragrance present across the range — declared.
- Editorial concerns
- Synthetic fragrance is the primary flag. Formulations are within safe limits but unremarkable for the premium positioning.
Index grade is editorial, not paid. The grade reflects what's in the product against Glow's v1.0 watch list — it sits beside the Glow score, not instead of it. 2 Dudes earns a Grade C because the formulations are mid-market performance in premium packaging. Synthetic fragrance is the safety flag; the bigger issue is commercial — the price-to-formulation gap is wide. For a comparable price, Frasé Skin (Grade A) outperforms across the entire range.
