The verdict

The mask to buy if you're buying once.

Omnilux's product is the strongest clinical pedigree in the home-LED category. 20+ clinical trials underlie the company; the Contour Face uses the exact wavelengths (633nm red + 830nm near-infrared) that clinical literature supports. Visible results in our 12-week test matched published trial outcomes — tone improvement at 4 weeks, wrinkle depth reduction at 10. $595 prices out casual users, which is arguably the point. This is a 5-year investment device.

What they do right

  • Strongest clinical evidence in category
  • FDA-cleared
  • 10-minute sessions
  • Flexible silicone form factor

What to know

  • $595 excludes casual users
  • Controller tethered (not wireless)
  • Doesn't include blue LED for acne
