Bulldog Skincare for Men Review Australia 2026

Men's skincare without the bro tax.

Original Moisturiser, Sensitive Moisturiser, Beard Oil. Stocked at Coles, Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse, Priceline. Built in London. Made for the bathroom shelf.

The brand

Skincare without the lecture.

Founded in London in 2007 by Simon Duffy and Rhodri Ferrier. The brand that turned men's skincare into a supermarket category instead of a department-store ritual.

The pitch was always the same: plain English on the label, fragrance kept down, naturally-derived where possible, priced so the second bottle isn't a decision. The bulldog mascot did the rest of the work.

Acquired by Edgewell Personal Care in 2017. Still HQ'd in London. In Australia the brand sits at Coles, Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse, Priceline and Big W — every supermarket and pharmacy a buyer might reasonably pass through.

The brand world

A mascot, a gift box, a green bottle.

The visual system that runs every Australian shelf. Bulldog on the front, eight bucks on the sticker, the same family of muted greens and browns from Coles to Chemist Warehouse.

The shelf

Built for the supermarket trolley.

Most men's brands chase the editor pick. Bulldog chased the weekly grocery shop — the bottle that goes in the trolley between the bread and the laundry detergent. Sixteen dollars. No actives to titrate. The friend you recommend when someone asks where to start.

FAQ

The six questions buyers ask.

Where can I buy Bulldog in Australia?
Coles, Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse, Priceline and Big W stock the core range nationally. Chemist Warehouse usually carries the deepest shelf and the sharpest price.
Is Bulldog actually a British brand?
Yes. Bulldog was founded in London in 2007 by Simon Duffy and Rhodri Ferrier. Edgewell Personal Care acquired the brand in 2017. HQ is still London.
Original or Sensitive Moisturiser — which one?
Original is the default — light, slightly herbal, suits most skin. Sensitive is the post-shave choice, the winter choice, and the choice for anyone whose face reacts to fragrance. Both are around AU$16.
Is the Beard Oil worth it?
Yes — and it's the bestselling male grooming oil in Australia for a reason. Eight oils, light scent, doesn't go greasy. A bottle lasts most beards three to four months.
Is Bulldog cruelty-free and vegan?
Yes to both. Bulldog is Leaping Bunny certified and the entire range is vegan-formulated. Made without parabens, SLS, synthetic fragrances or ingredients from animal sources.
Is Bulldog good for first-time skincare users?
Yes — arguably the most beginner-friendly men's skincare on the supermarket shelf. Plain English on the label, no actives to titrate, no routine to learn. Wash, moisturise, beard oil if relevant. Done.
