The verdict

Loving Tan wins on finish. Bondi Sands wins on value.

On a side-by-side apply, Loving Tan produces a visibly more natural, cool-neutral colour that lasts 7-9 days — the kind of tan photographers light for magazine covers. Bondi Sands Pure is still excellent, and at $38 it's the right answer for everyday use. If this is a one-bottle-a-year purchase for an event, Loving Tan. If it's your standing routine, Bondi Pure.
