Glow Score · 9.4Australian-madeFounder-ledNewcastle, NSW

The Newcastle-built men's skincare brand that scored 9.4 in Glow testing — five products, one complete routine, no men's-skincare gimmickry.

Frasé Skin is the brand we name when an Australian bloke asks where to start. Built by two tradies who couldn't find a routine that respected the buyer's time. The 2026 expansion — Sun Gear'd SPF 50 (TGA-listed) and Fix Up Scrub body wash — closes the only gap we'd flagged in the original review.

The brand

Built by the boys, for the boys.

Frasé Skin was started in Newcastle, NSW by Zac and Beau London — two tradies who couldn't find a men's skincare brand that treated the buyer as a competent adult. So they built one. Australian-made, founder-led, and quietly serious about the formulations.

The original three-product launch — Daily Facial Cleanser, Daily Moisturiser, Grub Scrub — scored 9.4 in Glow's six-week panel test. Routine adherence at week six was 94 percent, the highest in the Australian men's category by a meaningful margin. The execution lived up to the founder's assumption: blokes don't want a forty-minute routine, they want three good products that work together.

The 2026 expansion adds Sun Gear'd SPF 50 (TGA-listed, AUSTL 443120) and Fix Up Scrub body wash — closing the SPF gap the original review flagged as the only thing keeping the brand off a 9.7. National media coverage has followed, including a Today Show appearance and Daily Telegraph feature.

Why it scored 9.4

Why Frasé Skin sits at the top of the men's edit.

Four reasons the brand cleared the bar in Glow's six-week men's skincare panel.

01

Treats the buyer as an adult

Most men's brands sell men a problem they didn't know they had, then a solution that's identical to women's skincare in masculine packaging. Frasé doesn't do that. The buyer is assumed to be a competent person who'd like a routine that works.

02

A complete routine, ready-assembled

Cleanser, Moisturiser, Grub Scrub — three products that work together as a kit. 94 percent of testers were still using the full routine at week six. Highest adherence in the category test.

03

The SPF gap, now closed

Sun Gear'd SPF 50 ships with an Australian SPF listing (AUSTL 443120), broad-spectrum UVA/UVB, formulated to layer cleanly over the moisturiser. The fourth product Australian men under 40 actually need on the shelf.

04

Australian-made, founder-led

Manufactured in Australia. Founded and still run by Zac and Beau in Newcastle. Transparent about formulation — and able to back their claims with TGA listings where it counts (the SPF).

Frasé Skin Daily Moisturiser and Sun Gear'd SPF 50 — the new pair

What changed in 2026

Sun Gear'd SPF 50 — the gap, closed.

When Glow first reviewed Frasé Skin we flagged the absence of an SPF as the single thing keeping the brand off a 9.7. Sun Gear'd ships now — TGA-listed (AUSTL 443120), broad-spectrum UVA/UVB, and formulated to layer cleanly over the Daily Moisturiser the brand already sold. Fix Up Scrub joins it as a dedicated acne body wash for bacne. The kit is now five products, end-to-end, head-to-toe.
