What is niacinamide?

Vitamin B3 for skin. The multi-functional active that oil-regulates, tightens pores, and calms redness — without the irritation risk of retinol or vitamin C.

Niacinamide is vitamin B3 — a water-soluble vitamin that works topically on skin's ceramide production, sebum regulation, and inflammatory response.

It's the rare active that actively improves skin barrier while also addressing visible concerns (pores, redness, uneven tone).

Safe for all skin types including sensitive, pregnant, and breastfeeding. The gentlest of the proven actives.

The method

01.

Concentration matters less than consistency

2-10% works. Most products are 5-10%. Going above 10% doesn't add benefit and may irritate.

Daily use for 8+ weeks is where results appear.

02.

Layers safely with everything

Can be used morning or night. Works with retinol, vitamin C, and AHA/BHA.

Apply after toner, before moisturiser.

03.

Best for: oily skin, large pores, uneven tone

Oil control effects are most pronounced in oily/combo skin.

Pore appearance improves over 8-12 weeks.

Red patches reduce from week 4.
