It's the day before The Glow Edit goes out and I'm reading three new product launches that all dropped in the past fortnight. I'm not testing any of them in the next quarter — the testing calendar is full through July — but I want to flag them publicly so we can return to them in the September re-test cycle.
First, Sunday Riley's new C.E.O. Vitamin C 30% (UK launch March, AU in May). The percentage is high enough to be interesting; the question is tolerability across our test panel. I'd guess this one earns a position in our Vitamin C ranking but probably below SkinCeuticals.
Second, Allies of Skin's Triple Hyaluronic Antioxidant Hydration Serum. The Singapore brand has been quietly building credibility in AU through Mecca for two years; this product has the highest concentration of niacinamide we've seen in a hydrator at the price point.
Third, an unnamed UK retinaldehyde launch I've been briefed on under embargo (so won't name yet). If the formulation lives up to the brief, it slots into our Crystal Retinal comparison and possibly displaces Medik8 in the Glow 100.
Filing this here so we have a paper trail when the testing cycle catches up. None of these products are in the current rankings; do not assume otherwise.
