How does Glow review products?

Accepted Answer

Every product is acquired at retail (no PR samples for graded reviews), tested by a four-tester panel for a minimum of six weeks (twelve weeks for anti-ageing claims), scored across five axes, Efficacy, Formulation, Tolerability, Value and Distinction, by a named editor, and validated by a second editor before publication. Is The Glow independent?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Glow does not accept payment for editorial placement, score, or featuring under any product or clinic name. Affiliate revenue is capped at a single-retailer share defined in The Glow Standard and is never tied to score or ranking. A public conflict register is updated quarterly and audited annually. Editor disclosable interests are published on each author profile.

Cosmetic-medicine clinic features are selected against a nine-point editorial framework: founder credentials, clinical oversight, treatment breadth, consultation model, public reputation, transparency, patient suitability, pricing clarity, and editorial independence. Featured Clinic selections are made jointly by the Devices Editor and the Editorial desk. Glow has no commercial relationship with featured clinics at time of publishing.
