What is hyaluronic acid?

The hydrating humectant that holds 1000× its weight in water. Used correctly, it's a gamechanger. Used wrong, it can dehydrate.

Hyaluronic acid is a molecule naturally found in skin that binds and holds water. Topical HA draws moisture into the skin's upper layers.

The biggest mistake: applying to dry skin in dry air. In low humidity, HA can pull moisture from deeper skin out to the surface, dehydrating you.

Always apply to damp skin, seal with moisturiser immediately.

The method

01.

Apply to damp skin

Mist face or leave slightly wet after cleansing. Apply HA serum immediately.

Lock in with a moisturiser within 60 seconds.

02.

Works morning and night

Safe to use twice daily.

Particularly useful morning under SPF and makeup.

03.

Molecular weight affects function

Low molecular weight penetrates deeper. High molecular weight hydrates surface.

Best products include multiple weights (listed as 'multi-weight' or 'multi-molecular').
